CAMD User Accounts

There are 4 user account types:

 

  1. Administrator
  2. Manager
  3. Employee / Freelancer
  4. Client

 

Administrator (90)

Administrators have access to all CAMD functionalities without limitations. This account should be assigned to only a few people and generally is not used on a day-to-day basis. This account type is primarly used for addiding users to CAMD.


Manager (75)

Managers have all abilities excluding user account control. This account type should be used for people who need day-to-day access of all of CAMD's promary functions.


Employee / Freelancer (35)

The Employee / Freelancer account type should be used for the majority of users. This account type allows for all functionality excluding user account control, invoices, billing, projects, and clients BUT allows view only access to client and project info. This account also allows full access to log time.


Client (10)

The Client account type should be used when you would like clients to be able to view their invoices and invoice statuses. Clients are able to view time log and project statuses without having an account. This account type is rarly used.


The Master Account (100)

While the Master Account that is created during the initial resistration proicess will work as an Administraor account, it is recommended to create a user account that is seperate from the Master account for all users of CAMD.


The numbers in parenthesis apply only if you have installed CAMD on your own servers. This number is used to check authorization. Is is easy to add additional account types by inserting new values between the ones listed above.
